Add .epl2 in Windows Vista

To add .epl2 in Windows Vista, perform the following:

1.      Go to the start menu search box and type in index

2.      Hit Enter

3.      In Indexing Options window, click the Advanced button

4.      Type in EPL2

5.      Click Add new extension

To change what program .EPL2 is associated with

1.      Click Start button

2.      Select Control Panel

3.      Select Programs (in Category view)

4.      Under Default Programs, select Make a file type always open in a specific program

5.      If Set Associations window appears, select .EPL2

6.      Click Change program button

7.      Select related label.bat file

8.      Click OK

If users have difficulty in finding Set Association in Vista, follow these steps: 

1. Open a Notepad
2. Type in any character
3. Save as "Shipping.epl2" in the Desktop
4. File type is All Files
5. Go to Shipping.epl2 in the Desktop > Right click > Open With > Choose Program> Browse> locate the label.bat in the Desktop (or any proper location, as the case may be) > check also Always use the selected program to open this kind of file

Alternatively, navigate to Shipping.epl2 in the Desktop > Right click > General > Change > locate the label.bat in the Desktop (or any proper location, as the case may be) > check also Always use the selected program to open this kind of file
