Hyperlink on Printed PDF Form Returns Page Not Found when Clicked

User created a custom field of type hyperlink and added it to the transaction form. The field contains the web address of the user's Web Site. After printing the transaction as PDF (e.g. Sales Order) , the hyperlink does not work when clicked. A window opens with the following message: Page not Found.

This would happen when the URL set of the custom field incomplete. The Default value set on the field is longer than the field's width, cutting part of the URL when form is printed. Thus, the error is returned when the user clicks the link.

To resolve this, edit the custom field to increase the width of the field.

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.

2. Edit the form where the custom field is set to print.

3. Click the Printing Fields tab.

4. In the Body subtab, locate the custom field.

5. Increase the number set in the Width field.

6. Click Save.
