Saved Search: Show How Many Assembly Build Transactions a Member Item is Used as a Component to Build

To extract the number of Assembly Builds that uses a certain component from assembly builds:

1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New > Transaction
2. Under the Criteria tab > Standard sub tab > add the following filters:
          a. Type = is Assembly Build
          b. Item : Component Item = is component item name
                     To get this:

• Look for Item Fields...
• In the pop-up box, click on the drop down for Item Filter
• Look for Component Item
• In the other pop-up box, type in or click the Select Multiple to look for component item name

3. In the Results tab > Columns sub tab > set Summary Type

• Type  = Group
• Number = Count

4. Rename the Search
5. Save and Run.
