Unable to Direct List Edit a Custom Field if Default Form is not Selected in Apply To Forms


Customer creates a custom field (Example: Transaction body field):
Show in List = T
Store Value = T
Display Type = Normal
In Apply to Forms:
Form B only selected, not preferred form.

In order to be able to Direct List Edit the custom field, the field must be selected to show on the preferred form.

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms Transaction Forms.
2. Edit the preferred form (e.g. Sales Order, Invoice)
3. In the Screen Fields tab.
4. Set to Show the field in the preferred form.
5. Click Save.
