Source the Primary Sales Rep Assigned to Customer to Display in the Contact Record

1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & FieldsEntity Fields > New
2. On the Label field, enter the name of the field (e.g. Contact Sales Rep)
3. Select on Type = Free Form Text
4. Make sure that the Store Value checkbox is unchecked.
5. Enable the Show in List checkbox
6. On the Applies To tab, enable the Contact checkbox
7. On the Display tab > Subtab, select Main
8. On the Validation & Defaulting, enter on the Default Value = {company.salesrep} and make sure that the Formula checkbox is enabled.
9. Click Save.

Note: The Sales Rep field is populated based on the primary sales rep assigned on the customer record.
