Use Fields to Search the Customer in Google Search

User wants to be able to google search the name of the customer. Instead of manually opening a browser and entering the customer name as a keyword, the user wants to just click on a link and the customer name is automatically entered in the search box.

1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & FieldsEntity Fields > New.
2. Enter any label in the Label field.
3. Set the Type as hyperlink.
4. In the Applies to tab > mark Customer.
5. In the Validation and Defaulting tab > set the Default value as https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q={companyname}
6. Uncheck Formula.
7. Uncheck Store Value.
8. Click Save.
