Hide the Coupon Code Field on Sales Orders

User can hide the field Coupon Code from sales orders with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.

2. Customize/Edit the form in question.

3. Under Screen Fields tab > Items subtab, set the Show checkbox corresponding to the Coupon Code field to False.

4. Click Save.


Note:

Hiding the Coupon Code field only works fine when using Multiple Uses promo codes. When the coupon code field is hidden and a Single Use promo code is used in a sales transaction, the system will prompt this message: Please enter coupon code for selected promotion. The reason for this is that, unlike Multiple Uses promo code, selecting a Promotion in sales orders does not automatically populate the Coupon Code field.
