Import Data from NetSuite to Adaptive Insights in Base Currency at an Aggregate Level

Adaptive Insights is not yet designed to pull up the base currency information at an aggregate level.

If a user needs the base currency at an aggregate level when importing data from NetSuite to Adaptive Insights, possible alternate solutions are:

1. Use the getPostingTransctionSummary Web Services API that will return result based on currency of subsidiary.

2. To convert to parent, use getConsolidatedExchangeRate API.

The current options that Adaptive can provide are the following:

3. Run a report from NetSuite in base currency and then manually import the same into Adaptive Insights.

4. Build in the currency structure at the subsidiary level and then the data can be brought in as local currency and rollup to the plan level to base currency based on the exchange rate.

Any changes would need to be scheduled into the release cycle. Adaptive will be re-implementing NS/AP integration in the next release based on NetSuite APIs.
