Internet Explorer and FireFox throw "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (103:103)" when printing any transaction in PDF format.

This error appears when user prints any transaction in PDF format and has started since they upgraded to Adobe Reader version X. 


Also, this only affects Internet Explorer and FireFox browsers.




To resolve, user can do any of the following:


1. Downgrade to Adobe Reader 9 or earlier.


2. Use Chrome browser instead.


2. Enable the "Enable Protected Mode at startup
  • Open Adobe Reader X
  • From Edit menu select Preferences
  • Select General category on the list, tick the box for "Enable Protected Mode at startup"
  • Click OK

Note: 


To print in PDF, Print Using HTML must be disabled (Home > Set Preferences > Transactions tab)
