Sales Activity by Sales Rep Report > Filter set Status = Completed > Tasks with Due Date within the Range of Activity Date Specified do not Show in the Report

There are multiple Date values in a Task record.
Below are:

- Start date
- Due date
- Date completed
- Date created (*date the Task record was created as per system notes)
- Date the "Status" field was assigned with value = Completed, as per system notes

The Sales activity report, Activity Date is getting the value from "Date completed" field, not from the Due date field.
To prove that, below are the steps.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a Task with different values in Date fields:
Example:
- Start date : 04/01/2012
- Due date : 04/05/2012
- Date completed: 04/10/2012

Status = Not Started
- Save

2. Edit the Task record > change the Status from Not Started to "Completed" > Save

3. View System notes of the Task record. Below are the values:
- Date created : 03/30/2012
- Date the "Status" field was changed to "Completed" : 03/30/2012

4. Customize the Sales Activity by Sales rep report > at the Foot of the page:
- Date = Custom


- Try to change the From and To field using each of the Dates above:


Test # 1: Custom Date = From 04/01/2012 .. To: 04/01/2012 --> No result
Test # 2: Custom Date = From 04/05/2012 .. To: 04/05/2012 --> No result
Test # 3: Custom Date = From 04/10/2012 .. To: 04/10/2012 --> The Task appeared
Test # 4: Custom Date = From 03/30/2012 .. To: 03/30/2012 --> No Result


Actual Result: The report will display the Task if Date is From 04/10/2012 to 04/10/2012, which is the value in the "Completed Date" field
