Set Standard or Custom Fields as Required Fields in Field Mapping When Doing CSV Import

Problem:

 

Customize the form of the entity/transaction record to make a standard/custom field mandatory.

Solution:

 

• Navigate to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms or Transaction Forms
• Edit the form
• Under the Screen Fields tab, look for the Mandatory column in the subtab for the specific field you want to set as mandatory
  
• Tick the check box to make the field mandatory
• Save the form
  

The field will now have Req indicator in the NetSuite Fields panel for the form during mapping.
