Unable to Apply Excess Deposit Applied to a Sales Order to Open Invoices

1. From the New Deposit Application page > click on the Customer Deposit link from the Application Of field.
2. On the Customer Deposit > click on the Sales Order from the Sales Order field.
3. Check on the Status of the Sales Order.

Note: The excess amount of a Customer Deposit created from Sales Orders is not applied to open Invoices unless the Sales Order is already fully Billed and Fulfilled or Closed. The Customer Deposit remains to be reserved for the Sales Order pending for billing and pending for fulfillment.
