To properly display the results of a Published Saved Search when the Descriptive URL feature is enabled, use the complete URL for the Publish Saved Search. This means users need to include the Parent Category the Publish Saved Search is assigned to in the URL.
This is a sample setup for a Published Saved Search:
- Title: Sample Items
- Search: Sample Item Saved Search
- Site: My Site (www.mysite.com)
- Subcategory of: Category
- URL Component: Sample-Items
The correct and complete URL for the setup above is: http://www.mysite.com/Category/Sample-Items
If users access the Published Saved Search with only this URL: http://www.mysite.com/Sample-Items, the results will not display.
