This article applies to any tab that was removed when New Form Layouts were introduced in Release 2012.2. The example provided below is for the Info and General tab on a Customer form:
1. The Info and General tab are available on Customer forms that were not upgraded after Release 2012.2.
2. If you open the Standard Customer or Standard Lead form, the Info and General tab are not available anymore. These were replaced by the Relationships tab and some fields were placed in the Main area.
If upgrading of this form to the New Form Layout is not an option and there are new fields that are required to be placed in one of these tabs the following steps will need to be taken:
a) Create the custom field as documented in help articles but do not assign it to a subtab
b) Navigate to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms
c) Edit the Custom Form in question
d) Click on Move Elements Between Subtabs
e) Navigate to Fields > Custom tab
f) Find the new field that was created
g) Mark the Select checkbox and choose Info in the Subtab dropdown to the right
h) Click on Save (to save the move) then Save again (to save the changes to the form)
