Employee Center > Enter Purchase Request > No one in your chain of command has sufficient spending limit to approve this transaction.

If a user is still encountering the warning message "No one in your chain of command has sufficient spending limit to approve this transaction." even if all setup noted in the SuiteAnswers Article "Submit Expense Report via the Employee Center role > No one in your chain of command has a sufficient spending limit to approve this transaction." (Answer Id: 32727) has been followed, the user might have the bundle "Purchase Order Approval Workflow SuiteApp (Bundle 18851) installed in their account.

Sample Scenario:

Employee Name: Employee1
Purchase Limit = 0
Purchase Approver = Employee 2
Purchase Approval Limit = 0

Employee Name: Employee 2
Purchase Limit = 50.00
Purchase Approver = Employee 3
Purchase Approval Limit = 250.00

Employee Name: Employee 3
Purchase Limit = null
Purchase Approver = null
Purchase Approval Limit = null

With the above setup, if Employee1 enters a Purchase Request in the Employee Center in any amount and bundle 18851 is installed in the account, the user will receive the warning message:

"No one in your chain of command has sufficient spending limit to approve this transaction."

This is because one of the approver's Purchase Approval Limit is set to Null. User should input a value to avoid the warning message.

User will not encounter the warning message if bundle 18851 is not installed in their account.
