Fixed Assets > Depreciation > Code: RCRD_HAS_BEEN_CHANGED Details: Record has been changed > Status Failed but Assets were updated and Journal Entry created is just for a single asset

Problem:

·        User has encountered this error message upon running Asset Depreciation (Fixed Assets > Transactions > Asset Depreciation) – Code: RCRD_HAS_BEEN_CHANGED Details: Record has been changed.

·        When a user opens an Asset record > Depreciation History tab and views a Journal Entry related to the depreciation, only one asset record appears in the journal entry.

 

Solution:

·         This is encountered when the journal entry created from depreciation has been edited even when the process is still In Progress.

·         User must wait until the Status of the Depreciation is already Completed before making any changes in the journal entry.
