Unable to enter invoice due to error after enabling Multi-Location Inventory feature

 

Symptoms/Details of Business Requirements/Any Additional Information: 

 

1.    Enable Multi-Location Inventory (MLI) feature

2.    Create Locations wherein Make Inventory Available = T

3.    Items were distributed to the Location

Navigate to Transactions  > Sales > Create Invoices > enter Location and Item > Save.

 

Results: Error: Multi-location Inventory Error (MLI_LOCATION_REQUIRED): this transaction or its items must have locations.

 

               

Solution/ Recommendation Details:

 

Set the date of the  Invoice to a day after today or after the date of your inventory distribution.
