Alt. Email and Mobile Phone not Displayed in Partner Form

The Alt. Email and Mobile Phone fields are considered applicable only to Individuals, not Company entities. There will be available when the Partner Type is set to Individual.

As an alternate solution, user can create Custom Fields, that are available for Partner records regardless of the Type.

Follow the steps below to create the Custom Fields and show them on the Partner Entry Form:

  1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & FieldsEntity Fields > New.
  2. Enter a Label: Alternate Email.
  3. Set the Type : Email Address.
  4. Set Store Value is Yes.
  5. On the Applies To tab select Partner.
  6. On the Display tab, set Subtab : Main.
  7. Click Save & New.
  8. Enter a Label: Mobile Phone Number.
  9. Set the Type = Phone.
  10. Set Store Value to Yes.
  11. On the Applies To tab select Partner.
  12. On the Display tab: set Subtab : Main.
  13. Click Save.

Hide the standard Alt. Email and Mobile field from the Partner Entry Form to avoid confusion.

  1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms.
  2. Find and Edit the custom Partner Form.
  3. On the Fields subtab > Main sublist.
    • Set Alt Email : Show = No
    • Set Mobile Phone : Show = No
    • If necessary, change the Label for the new created Custom Fields and choose the Field Group the created custom fields should belong to.
  4. Click Save.
