Incorrect Account Balance in Financial Planning due to Wrong Mapping in Adaptive Insights

This article is intended for accounts integrated with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite's partner in delivering financial management solutions.


Discrepancy after import of Data coming from NetSuite to Adaptive Insights is noticed when comparing balances coming from a report, e.g. Income Statement, with the Financial Planning Sheet is due to duplicate mapping of accounts.

 

Navigate to Financial Planning>Admin>Import>NetSuite Import Category Mappings.

 

1.     Set Financial Planning Dimension to Account

Ensure that the Mapped Financial Planning Account has no duplicate mapping with NetSuite Account Name [Number] Accounts.

2.     Set Financial Planning Dimensions to Level

Ensure that the Mapped Level has no duplicate mapping with NetSuite Department

3.     Set Financial Planning Dimensions to Location

Ensure that Mapped Dimension Value has no duplicated mapping with NetSuite Location

 

Check the changes Financial Planning Sheet against NetSuite Report.
