The reason for error is when the Scriptable Cart and Checkout box is enabled in Setup > Site Builder > Set Up Web Site > Setup tab. Disabling the box should fix the issue.
User should check the script attached to the Scripting Template (Credit Card) form if user wants to continue using the Scriptable Cart and Checkout feature.
