Internet Explorer: Transaction > More Actions > Email > no New Email Message window appeared and with error on page


Open any Transaction > click on More Actions > Email, no New Email Window.  Use Internet Explorer to see Error on Page.

Steps taken by the user:
A. Create a custom form for Cash Sale and under Tabs, uncheck the Messages box.
1.  Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.
2.  Click on Customize on Standard Cash Sale Form.
3.  Enter Name for the form.
4.  Form is Preferred = T.
5.  Under Tabs, uncheck the Show box for Messages/Communication.
6.  Click Save.
 
B.  Create a Cash Sale.
1. Navigate to Transactions > Sales > Enter Cash Sale
2.  Select a customer in the Customer field
3.  Navigate to Items tab > Items subtab, select items.
3. Click Save.
4.  Click on More Actions > click Email.
 
Actual Results:
1. The new Email Message window did not appear.
2. If Internet Explorer is the browser, there is an Error on Page. That is the yellow triangle on the lower left hand corner.
 
Expected Results:
1. New Email Message window will appear.
To eliminate the error:
Customize the Cash Sale form and under Tabs, make sure that the Messages/Communication tab is set to Show.
1. Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms.
2. Edit the Cash Sale form.
3. Under Tabs, check the Show box for Messages/Communication.
5. Click Save.
