Financial Impact of Disabling Bin Management Feature

Before a user enable the Bin Management feature, he or she might ask if there would be a financial impact if they eventually decided to turn it off.

Bin Management feature can be disabled by unmarking the checkbox for Bin Management under Setup>Company>Enable Features>Items & Inventory tab

There will be no financial impact when disabling bin management; however, you may have some discrepancies between Quantity On Hand and Bin On Hand when re-enabling said feature after transactions are already posted against your item.

The discrepancy can be manually fixed by either of the following:

1. Go back to the transactions created without Bins and re-enter the bin numbers 

2. Create an Inventory Adjustment by navigating to Transactions > Inventory > Adjust Inventory
