No Fields are Available for Mapping in the Field Mapping Section of the Import Assistant

 

In the Field Mapping section of the Import Assistant, no fields are showing up under Your Fields

Sample CSV file:

External ID	Company Name	Email~	"Phone #"
CU001	SM Entertainment	sment@noemail.com	850-8899

Special characters such as quotation (" "), in column header of the CSV file causes this behavior. To resolve this, removed the quotation (") and other special characters used in the header, then reimport the CSV file.

Note:

-Avoid using these special characters (` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ) ; ' [ ] "{ }).
- Line breaks (alt + enter) are also considered as a special character. It may look like there could be no line breaks in the header, but double clicking on each header sometimes show if there are any line breaks in a cell.
-You can also open the file in Notepad to display the special characters.
