Delete Inbound SSO Mapping

There are instances wherein Inbound SSO users are being redirected to a different user or role in their NetSuite accounts. The cause of this problem is most likely due to erroneous mapping wherein the userId mapped was mistakenly assigned to a different user.

In order to fix the problem without having to contact NetSuite Support to remove those mappings, erroneous Inbound SSO Mappings can be deleted by removing or changing the mapped role assigned to a NetSuite user.

1. Verify the NetSuite user and role where the external user is being redirected to.
2. Using an Administrator account (or any login with edit/full permission to Employee records), Edit the employee record verified in Step 1.
3. On the Access tab, change the role of the NetSuite user to any other role available and save the record.
4. Edit the employee record again and assign back the correct role and save.

This way, you will not need to assign a new password for the record. There is a need to set a new password for users that cannot be assigned with a temporary role when granting back access after removing the role so the process may not be transparent to the entity.
