New Workplace Requirements for Premier Payroll Users

Premier Payroll users are required to submit Power of Attorney (POA) for new workplace set-up in the NetSuite system.  The POA will authorize the Premier Payroll service to file, pay and transact with the state and tax agencies on behalf of the payroll user.

For items below, please visit Oracle NetSuite Hightail shared space:

The following POA's must be notarized:
1. Alabama State Unemployment Insurance
2. Colorado State Unemployment Insurance
3. New York State Income Tax (or witnessed by two people on the bottom of page two)
4. Oklahoma State Unemployment Insurance
5. Texas State Unemployment Insurance
6. Vermont State Income Tax and State Unemployment Insurance

The below states require original POAs:
1. Colorado State Unemployment Insurance
2. Oklahoma State Unemployment Insurance
3. New York State Unemployment Insurance
4. Texas State Unemployment Insurance

Other Important Requirements:

1. New York
Employer Access Code (not the PIN) for users who make Tax Deposits using PrompTax Program, regardless if mandatory or voluntary filers.

2. Colorado
Provide NetSuite with the 10-digit EFT Account number if the state requires weekly deposit of withholding taxes. If EFT number is not provided, the system automatically changes the frequency to monthly making the tax deposits late.   Penalties or interest assessed by the State will be for the account of the employer and not Ceridian.

3. New Jersey
Provide NetSuite with the four-digit filing PIN. The state permits payroll tax providers such as Ceridian to file original tax returns and wage details for the state. However, they require this PIN to do any amendments to the wage detail. It is recommended that employers keep the PIN in a safe place for a long time for future reference.

4. Kansas
Provide NetSuite with EFT Pin

5. Massachusetts
Assign permissions to Ceridian (CTS).  Once a valid SUI account number is established, please ensure that employer logs into QUEST account and assigns Ceridian (TPA ID#100288) to the Employment and Wage Detail Update and Submit and Payments Update and Submit roles.  Tis access is required for Premier Payroll service to file on employer's behalf.
