Apply a non-customer deposit to an invoice

How to apply a non-customer deposit to an invoice.

If a customer deposit is incorrectly entered into:

Transactions Bank Make Deposits instead of Transactions Customers Record Customer Deposits you can still attach the deposit to an invoice.

  1. Edit the deposit to ensure the account selected under the deposit tab is the same account as set on the invoice
  2. Transactions Customers Accept Customer Payment and select the customer
  3. Check the deposit in the Credits sub tab of the Accounts tab
  4. Check the invoice in the Invoice sub tab
