Attach Existing Contact Records to Existing Customer Records via CSV Import

To attach existing Contact Records to existing Customer Records via CSV Import, follow these steps:

1. Create a CSV file with this pattern.
Company Name, CU Internal ID, Con First Name, Con Last Name, Con Internal ID
Company1 , CU 1 , Con First Name1, Con Last Name1, Con 1
Company1 , CU 1 , Con First Name2, Con Last Name2, Con 2
Company1 , CU 1 , Con First Name3, Con Last Name3, Con 3
Company1 , CU 1 , Con First Name4, Con Last Name4, Con 4

2. Navigate to Set Up > Import/ Export > Import CSV Records

3. Set the following:

Import Type = Relationships
Record Type = Customers and Contacts Together
Data Handling = Update

4. Map fields:

CSV Fields | NetSuite Fields

-Company Name | Company Name

-CU Internal ID | Internal ID

-Con First Name | Contact 1 : First Name

-Con Last Name | Contact 1 : Last Name

-Con Internal ID | Contact 1 : Internal ID

5. Click Save & Run.
