The following is the difference of a Sales by Customer Report from a Sales by Sales Rep Report:
*Sales by Customer Report tracks sales by customer.
*Sales by Sales Rep Report tracks sales by the number of sales rep on the sales transaction.
The Transaction Total on the Sales by Customer Report should be compared with the Contribution Total amount of the Sales by Sales Rep Report not with Total. The transaction is repeated on the Sales by Sales Rep report depending on the number of Sales Reps set on the sales transaction. On the Contribution total, the amount is based on the percentage of contribution assigned per sales rep making the total amount equal to 100% of the transaction.
