Fixed Assets > Transactions > Asset Proposal > Repropose a previously rejected Asset Proposal for transaction (e.g. Bill, Journal, Expense Report)

Scenario:

·        User sees GL Impact to a Fixed Asset account for one these transaction types:

Expense Report

Vendor Bill

Journal Entry

Item Receipt

Inventory Adjustment

Inventory Transfer

·        User navigates to Fixed Asset> Transaction > Asset Proposal

·        User marks the transaction

·        User hits the Reject Proposal

·        User edited the transaction and user wishes to propose this transactionagain

Solution:

1.   Navigate to Fixed Assets > Searches > ProposalHistory

2.   Click on Edit this Search button

3.   Criteria tab > Standard sub tab:

a.       Remove filter:Asset= is none of None

b.      Add the filter:ProposalStatus = is Rejected

4.   Add the field: Proposal Statusunder the Results tab> Column sub tab

5.   Hit the Preview button

6.   Click the Edit link besidesthe transaction record that userwishes to re-propose

7.   Edit the Proposal Status from Rejected to New

8.   Hit the Save button

9.   Navigate to Fixed Assets > Transactions > AssetProposal to re-propose thetransaction
