Introduction to Changes in Saved Search Emails in Release 2011.2

Before version 2011.2, unless a search owner manually enters a From address, saved search emails go out appearing to come from a generic NetSuite Alerts email address.

 

Here are some changes made in the 2011.2 email feature of saved searches:

1. A company-wide level preference where a generic From email address can be set for all saved search emails whose From address fields are blank.
2. An automatic default of From address to search owner's email should a saved search email come from a saved search with blank From address while company-level preference is also not set.
