Shipping Cost Calculated Based on Real-Time Rates in the Webstore are Tagged as free for Certain Items

-Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Items.  From the list of items, click the View link for each item where real-time rate calculations are tagged as Free

-Navigate to Sales/Pricing tab> Item Weight field.  Make sure that the weight specified is not zero (0).  Should you prefer not to specify an item weight; do not enter zero (0) but instead leave the field blank.  Once the Item Weight field is blank, they system uses one pound (1lb.) as the default weight.

Note:

-You may specify a default Item Weight which the system will use in the event no weight is specified in the item record.  This may be set under Setup > Accounting > Setup Tasks > Shipping: Default Item Weight in Lbs field.

- Item weight is used to determine shipping cost if you charge shipping by weight or use real time rates.  This is main reason why all shipping calculations are tagged as: Free! since the shipping rate is multiplied to a zero (0) factor which is the item weight; therefore resulting to a zero (0) total shipping cost.
