Unable to Generate Purchase Orders in the Order Items page> Error: 'Invalid item reference key xxxx'. The Item upon Validation within the System is Not Set as Inactive.

The error message will appear regardless if the item record/s are set as Inactive if the preferred Purchase Order form has an associated Item Search filter that defines what specific items may only display in the list under the line item column of the latter form.

An Alternate Solution would be to follow the steps below:

- Edit the preferred Purchase Order form and navigate to Screen Fields tab > Columns subtab > Item Filter field. 

- You may either remove the Saved Search associated in the Item Filter field or locate and edit the latter Save Search to exclude the item/s from the filter set.
