Custom Saved Search is missing in the Default Trend Type dropdown field in Custom KPI

Details:

1. Navigate to Home Dashboard > hit Personalize Dashboard link.

2. Navigate to Standard Content folder > Trend Graphs sub folder > hit Custom KPI #XX.

3. In the Custom Trend Graph portlet, hit Set Up.

Result: A custom saved search is missing in the Default Trend Type dropdown field.

 

Solution:

Only Custom Saved Searches with a Date field selected as an Available Filter appear in the Default Trend Type dropdown field.
