Transactions > Sales Order/Estimate/Opportunity > New > The Lead Source field auto populates after selecting Customer.

To prevent the Lead Source field on new transaction (e.g. Opportunity) to auto populate after a customer is selected, follow these steps:

1. As Administrator navigate to Setup > Marketing > Marketing Preferences.
2. Under Default Lead Source on Sales Transactions, select None (empty field).
3. Click Save.
