Deploy a Workflow on all Kinds of Journal Entries except for Revenue Recognition Journal Entries

1. Create a Workflow (Customization > Scripting > Workflow > New)
Name: -any-
Record Type: Transactions
Sub Types: Intercompany Journal Entry; Journal Entry
Enable Logging: T
Event Definition > On Create: Y
Event Definition > On Update: Y

2. Under Event Definition > Formula > Custom Formula: {isfromrevrec} != 'T'

3. Save Workflow
