When editing a customized message in a Saved Search > Email Tab > Customize Messsage Subtab, NS's HTML editor changes the less than and greater than signs (< and >) into '& lt;', thus affecting the formulas <%= [formula] %>.
Possible Solution:
This is often a function of the browser. Please try a different browser.
