Impact of Changes Made to the NetSuite Import User Account to Adaptive Insights/NetSuite Integration

This article is intended for accounts integrated with Adaptive Insights, NetSuite's partner in delivering financial management solutions.

Before making any changes on the NetSuite Import User Account after integration with NetSuite, users should consider the following impact of these changes:

Changing a user's password in NetSuite does not invalidate any Adaptive Insights/NetSuite link that refers to the user's credentials

Changing a user's default role in NetSuite does not invalidate any Adaptive Insights/NetSuite link that refers to the user's credentials

Changing a user in NetSuite so that they no longer have permission to access the data needed for import will cause subsequent imports to fail and will require an Adaptive Insights Administrator with NetSuite Setup Administrative permission to update the import user to be a valid NetSuite user with the required permissions.

Changing a user in NetSuite so that they are no longer a valid user will cause subsequent imports to fail and will require an Adaptive Insights Administrator with NetSuite Setup Administrative permission to update the import user to be a valid NetSuite user with the required permissions.

• Replacing an existing Adaptive Insights User Account should have no affect on the established integration.
