Attach Files on Non-Assembly Items.

To attach files on non-assembly items is not yet available in NetSuite.

As a workaround, users may create a custom field but this may only allow single-file attachment. To create, perform the following:

1. Navigate to Customization > List, Records, & Fields > Item Fields > New.
2. Enter preferred field name on Label field (e.g. Files).
3. On the Type field, select Document.
4. On Applies To tab, mark the boxes for the item/s where this custom field will be available. Users may have multiple selections.
5. On Display tab, choose where this custom field will be displayed on each item subtab.
6. Set Display Type to Normal.
7. Click Save.
