Create a Customized Related Records Sublist

Create a Customized Related Records Sublist


Since the standard Related Records tab is not customizable, the user can create a Saved Search that pulls the desired results and deploy it as a sublist.
Create saved search:
Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New. Click Transaction.
Enter Search Title. (Ex. Custom Related Records)
Available as Sublist View: True
Under Criteria > Standard > Filter > Add:
Main Line: True.
Click on
Results tab.
Add or Remove fields depending on the need.
(eg. Date, Type, Name, Status, Memo, Amount) Click on Available Filters tab.
Under Filter column > select Created From Save & Run.
Create Sublist:
Navigate to Customization > Forms > Sublists.
Under Transaction column > Search > Select the saved search created in step A Enter a Label.
Under
Tab column > select Related Records
Sale
: True
Save.
Hide the Original Related Record Sublist:
Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms > Sales Order Form > Lists subtab > Related Records > uncheck Show checkbox for Links.
Save
