Expose Hourly Rate of an Employee to Payroll Reports

The ability to include the hourly rate of an employee to the payroll reports is tracked per
Enhancement 16674 : Payroll > Hours & Earnings Report - add Pay Rate and Net Pay (currently only reports Hours Worked and Gross Pay)

Below are the alternate solutions:

1. Customize a payroll report to expose the Unit Price column

a. Navigate to the payroll report (example: Reports > Payroll > Hours & Earnings)

b. Click the Customize button

c. Click Edit Columns

d. Click Payroll Transactions folder >

e. Click Unit Price

f. Click Preview or Save button

Note: The Unit Price column is the Hourly Rate. 

 

2. Customize Employee Payroll Item saved search to expose Rate

a. Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New

b. Click Employee Payroll Item

c. On Criteria > Standard > Filter = Payroll Item; Description = any of >choose the earning item.

d. Click Results tab

e. Search for Rate

f. Preview the report
