To include amount of labor cost quantity of an Assembly Item in a Projected Cost, the item to use should either be Service for Purchase or Service for Resale.
Consider the following in adding the labour cost for an assembly item:
- Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Items > New
- Create labor cost from either service for purchase or service for resale.
- Create labor cost from either service for purchase or service for resale
- Indicate a Purchase Price under Purchasing tab
- Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Items > New
- Click Assembly/Bill of Materials
- Click Members
- Add Members and the item created for labour cost.
- Navigate to Transactions > Inventory > Build Assemblies
- Add Quantity of Labour cost
- Projected total must show amount of labour.
