Q1. If each subsidiary is treated as separateentity not sharing Tax ID with the other subsidiaries, how does NetSuitePayroll treat the One-World Account if it has the Payroll Service moduleenabled? Is it seen on their end as one company per subsidiary?
A1. Yes, NetSuite Payroll treatseach subsidiary as a separate company. For example, if three subsidiaries of acompany has payroll module, NetSuite Payroll sees them as three separateentities in the tax system.
Q2. Howwould payroll funding activation be done in OneWorld accounts? Would customersneed to go through payroll funding account activation per subsidiary setup?Just to make sure, there would be no need to create different bank accounts persubsidiary unless payroll users really do have different bank accounts for eachsubsidiary, right?
A2. Payroll funding will happen per payroll/per subsidiary basis. Theactivation will still need to be done on subsidiary by subsidiary basis asNetSuite Payroll sees different bank accounts belonging to different companies.
Q3. We noticed that tax agencies (vendor records)setup for a tax items in Subsidiary A is showing up as available tax agenciesfor tax items of the rest of the other subsidiaries. Will this pose any problemrelated to tax liability payments
A3. The payroll item form should be filtering the vendor records by subsidiary.
