Resolve Users Who are Allowed to Fulfill More than the Quantity on hand When Fulfill based on Commitment setting is set to Limit to Committed

System allows fulfilling of Sales Orders more than Current Quantity On Hand even if Fulfill based on Commitment setting is set to "Limit to Committed" and the user is fulfilling items using the Standard Sales Order Form:

1. Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences.
2. On the Order Management tab > Fulfillment portlet, please check if Allow Overage on Item Fulfillment = T.

If Allow Overage on Item Fulfillment is enabled, the system overrides the fact that the Fulfill Based on Commitment setting is set to Limit to Committed.

Please revisit this preference to avoid underwater sales and/or Negative Quantity On Hand. Also, note that these settings only apply to transactions with fulfillment process (Sales Orders, etc.) and does not affect stand-alone sales transactions (Cash Sale, etc.).
