Asset Proposal results to error “Invalid custrecord_far_proins_procuser reference key xx.”

One World: Fixed Assets > Transactions > Asset Proposal > Select Asset Type and Subsidiary > Error: Invalid custrecord_far_proins_procuser reference key X.

 

To Propose Assets without the error:

* User access to NetSuite must be tied to an Employee Record. An Administrator who is a non-Employee user for example a Vendor, will still encounter this problem.

1. Navigate to Lists > Employees > Employees > New.

2. In the Access tab, check on Give Access.

3. In the Roles subtab, choose appropriate role with Fixed Assets permissions.

4. Save.

 

* User Subsidiary must be selected in the Role setup or enable Do not Restrict Employee field

1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

2. Edit the Role > Subsidiaries field = Add the Subsidiary in the Employee record.

3. Or check the Do not Restrict Employee Fields box.

4. Save.
