Transactions > Financial > Make Journal Entries > Lines Tab > Account Dropdown - Accounts were listed according to Account Type. How to view the accounts according to account number?
Solution:
If the user's account is setup to have a dropdown on account list, the accounts are sorted according to Account Type. However, if the user will switch to pop up list it is sorted according to account number.
To do this:
1. Navigate to Home > Set Preferences > General Tab > Optimizing NetSuite
2. Enter 0.00 on Maximum Entries in Dropdowns
3. Click Save.
Instead of a dropdown list, you will see a >> button that will allow you to view your account list (by account number)
