When editing existing sales orders, the "Create PO" column has no dropdown for Drop Shipment or Special Order.

Scenario: Customer wants to create a drop ship or special order PO from an existing sales order on Pending Approval and the item(s) is(are) not setup as drop ship or special item. He edits the sales order, changes the status from Pending Approval to Pending Fulfillment so that upon saving the order, the purchase order will be automatically created. When item line is clicked, Create PO column has no drop-down list.

Solution/Workaround: The status of the sales order should be on Pending Approval before you can select the Create PO drop-down list.

1. Edit an existing sales order.

2. While the sales order status is "Pending Approval", go to the item line and select Drop Shipment or Special Order in the Create PO drop-down list, then click Add for that line item. Do this to all line items that needs to be drop shipped or special ordered.

4. Change the status of the sales order to Pending Fulfillment.

5. Upon saving the order, the Drop Ship/Special Order PO will be created automatically.
