Apply International Phone Number Format for NetSuite OneWorld Accounts

For NetSuite OneWorld accounts, a user needs to check the preference of the Parent Subsidiary set on the Phone Number format field and make sure that it is not using any of the Phone Number options.

For example:

A user tried to create a customer record that has an international phone number format. However, the system is not letting the user key-in the international format. ie (12) 3456 7890.

Note:
• The Phone Number Format in the General Preference and in the User Preference has already been checked but the problem still persists.

To resolve this, the user needs to check the Phone Number format set on the Parent Subsidiary.

Here are the steps:
1. Navigate to Setup > Company > Subsidiaries.
2. Edit the Parent Subsidiary.
3. Click the Preferences tab. On the General tab, set the Phone Number Format field blank.
4. Click Save.
