Remove/Hide the Quick View portlet from the My Account page.

Some customers want to remove the Quick View portlet from the My Account page. Since this is part of the contents of the NLCOLUMNCONTENTS tag, there is currently no way to remove this portlet without also removing the Navigation portlets from the right-side navigation in the My Account page.

 

To be able to remove/hide the Quick View portlet without removing the navigation portlets from the right-side navigation in the My Account page, please follow these steps:

 

1. Navigate to Setup > Site Builder  > Themes, edit the theme used for the web store.

 

2. Click on the General tab, then place a CSS style on the ADDITION TO <HEAD> field:


3. Click Save.

 

What this CSS does is it searches for the ID of the DIV tag which the Quick View portlet is on, and hides it using CSS.
