Summary Row is Adding Up Instead of Subtracting Amounts

Custom Income Statement Report is Adding up Amounts when Formula is X - Y

Example:

Other Income and Expenses

Other Income...........100.00

Other Expenses..........50.00

Net Other Income......150.00

*Even when formula is changed to X+Y, the Net Income is still 150.00.

To correct this, customize the Report.

1. Open up the Custom Report.

2. Click Customize Button>Edit Layout.

3. Click on the Summary Row called Net Other Income.

4. Mark the Apply a Formula Radio Button instead of Dynamic Total.

5. Click Preview or Save.

Result: In the example above, Net Other Income should now be 50.00.
