Users with Administrator Role can only select Payment File Format and Type on the New Entity Bank Details Page

There are instances when user will allow multiple users to add Entity Bank Details.

For example, user may have two users:

User 1 and User 2. Both have the same role:

Role 1. Although they have the same role, only User 1 can add Entity Bank Details as he is the owner of this Custom Record.  

The recommended Permissions mentioned on Setting Up NetSuite Electronic Payments>Setting Up Roles and Permissions section of our Help Guide is the minimum and user may need to change permission levels for this user/role.  As a solution:

  1. Log in as User 1 using the Administrator role
  2. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & FieldsRecord Types
  3. Open Entity Bank Details
  4. Select Access Type = Use Permission List
  5. Click Save
  6. Navigate to Setup Users/Roles Manage Roles
  7. Click Edit on Role 1
  8. Navigate to Permissions>Custom Record subtab
  9. Change all Levels to FULL for the following:

    Bill EFT Details
    Bill EFT Payment Information
    Company Bank Details (Generic)
    Electronic Payments Preference
    Entity Bank Details
    Format Details
    Payment Aggregation
    Payment File Administration
    Payment File Format

  10. Click on Save button

Then, by logging in as User 2 using the same role - Role 1 user can now add Entity Bank Details on the Vendor Record
